By applying for media accreditation for the 6TH ASIAN (U18) ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2025, you (the
"Applicant") agree to the following terms and conditions. The Asian Athletics (AA) and the Local
Organizing Committee (LOC) reserve the right to amend these conditions at any time.
1. Eligibility and Accreditation Process
1.1 Only journalists, photographers, videographers, and broadcasters affiliated with recognized
media organizations will be considered.
1.2 Freelance media personnel must provide proof of assignment from a recognized media
outlet.
1.3 The application must be submitted within the official accreditation window. Late
applications may not be considered.
1.4 Accreditation is subject to approval by the AA. An approval email will be sent upon
successful verification.
2. Use of Accreditation
2.1 Accreditation is personal, non-transferable, and must always be worn inside the venue.
2.2 Accredited media can only access designated areas as per their assigned media category
(Press, Photographer, Broadcast, etc.).
2.3 Unauthorized lending, sale, or reproduction of accreditation will result in immediate
cancellation and future disqualification.
3. Conduct and Responsibilities
3.1 Accredited media must respect the privacy, dignity, and space of athletes, officials, and
event staff.
3.2 Interviews must be conducted only in designated mixed zones or upon prior arrangement
with the event media team.
3.3 Media personnel shall not obstruct competition areas, interfere with official broadcasts, or
disrupt the event schedule.
3.4 Any inappropriate behavior, including harassment, offensive language, or unethical
reporting, will result in immediate removal.
4. Image Rights and Broadcasting Regulations
4.1 Photography and videography are permitted only in designated areas and as per event
guidelines.
4.2 The use of drones, selfie sticks, or additional lighting equipment inside the competition
venue is strictly prohibited unless authorized.
4.3 Live streaming or broadcasting from within the venue requires prior written approval from
AA.
4.4 The AA and LOC reserve the right to use accredited media’s images and footage for event
promotional purposes.
5. Security, Health & Safety Regulations
5.1 Accredited media must undergo mandatory security screening before entering the venue.
5.2 Media personnel must follow all emergency procedures and instructions from security
personnel.
5.3 Smoking, alcohol consumption, and possession of prohibited substances inside the venue
are strictly prohibited.
5.4 Any breach of security, including unauthorized access to restricted zones, may lead to legal
action and blacklisting from future events.
6. Anti-Doping Awareness
6.1 Accredited media shall not interfere with or obstruct anti-doping procedures conducted by
official agencies.
6.2 Media personnel shall not disclose confidential anti-doping information without formal
authorization.
6.3 Misrepresentation or spreading false doping-related reports may lead to accreditation
cancellation and potential legal action.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
7.1 By submitting the accreditation application, the applicant consents to the collection,
processing, and use of their personal data by the AA.
7.2 AA reserve the right to use applicant data for internal administrative, security, and
event management purposes, including accreditation records, event planning, and
statistical analysis.
7.3 Personal data will be stored securely and handled in compliance with applicable data
protection regulations.
7.4 AA will not sell, distribute, or share applicant data with third parties for commercial
purposes. However, applicant data may be shared with law enforcement or regulatory bodies if
required by law.
8. Intellectual Property and Content Restrictions
8.1 Any content captured at the event cannot be used for commercial purposes without written
consent from AA.
8.2 Media personnel shall not alter or misrepresent any official event branding, athlete
endorsements, or sponsor logos.
8.3 Unauthorized use of official event trademarks, logos, or mascots is strictly prohibited.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 The AA and LOC shall not be responsible for any injury, damage, or loss suffered by media
personnel during the event.
9.2 Applicants assume full responsibility for their personal belongings and media equipment at
the venue.
9.3 The AA reserve the right to amend, withdraw, or suspend accreditation at any time without
liability.
10. Agreement and Consent
By submitting this application, the applicant confirms that:
I have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
I will abide by all event regulations, ethical standards, and security protocols.
I accept that accreditation may be revoked at any time for non-compliance.
